MiMeC launches, a centre for model-informed medicine with Oxford and GSK

Imperial, Oxford and GSK opened a centre applying mechanistic and data-driven modelling to the development of drugs, devices and lifestyle interventions, backed by 11 million pounds.

The centre brings together scientists, engineers, clinicians and data specialists to build models grounded in physics, physiology and pharmacology, running from molecular and cellular processes up to whole body physiology.
